Numerous volunteers are needed to make this meet happen.  All parents from the Bellefonte Family YMCA and the State College Area YMCA are asked to contribute time during the states meet, whether or not your child(ren) is/are swimming.

Positions needed include:

Admissions – sell tickets to sessions and session programs

Awards – multiple tasks lining swimmers up for awards, running results to flowers area, attaching results stickers to correct awards

Card Runners – collect cards from timers and return to scorers table – on your feet deck job

Coaches Registration – hand out packets, check credentials, and attach wristband

Flowers – sell flowers to spectators wishing to recgonize a swimmer's accomlishmets

Hospitality – help organize food, monitor food, keep area orderly and flow moving  

Officials – timers, stroke & turn etc. (must be certified offical) - See officials page on States site

Photography – work with photographers on deck to get swimmers lined up for photos and to help keep paperwork organized so correct photo goes with correct swimmer

Security – stationed in various locations to keep swimmers and attendees in their proper places

Seeding/Seating – seat swimmers in seating area according to event, heat and lane order

Swimmer Registration – check  swimmers in against team roster; attach wrist band

Trash Crew - Usually non-participant swimmers who keep the deck patrolled to keep it free of trash and litter; PM crew to help ensure readiness for next day’s events 

T-Shirts – sell T Shirts to individuals- distribute team orders
